About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President and Chief Advancement and Communications Officer (CACO) to lead its external communications and fundraising activities. Candidates for the CACO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 10 years of experience in development or fundraising in a leadership role. A deep understanding of the nonprofit sector, philanthropy, and best practices in fundraising and communications is essential. The role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to engage with diverse audiences. Visionary leadership, strategic thinking, and a proven track record in fundraising are also key qualifications. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar industry, and c-suite experience is highly valued.
