Description

Responsible for all aspects of marketing and leasing apartments, handling compliance administration for housing programs, lease renewals, recertifications, weekly reports, and supporting the Community Manager with office administration tasks. Will work to minimize vacancies, lease apartments quickly, promote positive resident relations and public relations, assure program compliance, and perform clerical duties as required.

Job Description

  • Assist with marketing apartments through digital advertising platforms and community outreach.
  • Create and execute resident retention and prospect events to drive traffic.
  • Maintain property social media pages.
  • Provide apartment tours to prospects.
  • Prepare, process, and sign all leases and related forms.
  • Communicate daily work orders with maintenance team.
  • Collect rents and handle delinquent accounts.
  • Process service requests.
  • Perform move‑in inspections and generate work orders.
  • Handle all details of move‑ins and move‑outs with inspection checklists.
  • Ensure a clean, well‑maintained community and perform touch‑up cleaning as needed.
  • Work effectively with staff, residents, applicants, and visitors.
  • Report accidents and emergencies to the Community Manager immediately.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as email follow‑ups, invoice processing, and rent check processing.
  • Complete regular and special reports as directed.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Assist other members of the property team as needed.
  • Support/back up the Community Manager when required.
  • Perform emergency on‑call duties as needed.
  • May assist at other Conifer locations as required.
  • Perform additional site job duties, projects, and assignments.
  • Attend work location during scheduled hours.

Experience

  • 1‑3+ years in apartment housing with affordable housing/Tax Credit, RD, HUD programs preferred.
  • Compliance experience (LIHTC, HUD‑Section 8) preferred or willing to train.
  • Prior leasing, marketing, event planning, customer service experience helpful.
  • Strong MS Office skills.
  • Yardi, Boston Post, or other property management software experience helpful.
  • Accounting/bookkeeping experience or math aptitude needed for rent reporting and collections.
  • Prior office support/clerical experience required.

Education

AAS Degree or some college preferred. High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

Conifer Realty is a professional, service‑oriented organization offering a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience, along with benefits such as training and development, 13 holidays, 15 days PTO, 401(k) match, medical, HSA, dependent care flex, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, and a wellness program.

The pay range for this position is $50,000.00 – $54,000.00. Compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and location.
