Job Title: Technical Editor / Writer Location: Sierra Vista, AZ Clearance: Secret Black Bear Technology is seeking a Technical Editor/Writer to develop, edit, and publish high-quality technical documentation and manuals. This role involves gathering and interpreting technical data, coordinating document layouts, and ensuring accuracy and clarity across publications supporting Army Enterprise programs throughout various life cycle stages. We are looking for a full-time Technical Editor/Writer to join our team and provide support for our IT services contract based in Sierra Vista, AZ. Responsibilities:
In-depth understanding of the task order requirements, their responsibilities, and the ability, knowledge, experience, and skills to carry-out those requirements and responsibilities
Microsoft Office® 2007 or higher editions
DoD and DA technical documentation development, parlance, and regulatory guidance.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Visio
Analytical and problem-solving skills, interpersonal relationship skills, demonstrate the ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
Participates in special projects as required
MS Word—Power User
MS Excel—Power User
MS PowerPoint —User
MS Outlook—User
MS Project— User
Education:
BA/BS or equivalent experience
Qualifications/Certifications:
ITIL® Foundation Certification is beneficial, but not required.
Clearance: Secret
3-5 years of experience in information technology field
