TRANS EMPOWERMENT PROJECT
Trans Empowerment Project (TEP) is on a mission to move the most marginalized members of our community—Disabled, 2TIGE (2Spirit, Trans, Intersex, Gender Expansive), and BIPOC folks—out of crisis and into empowerment. Our campaigns center around housing, healthcare, immigration, and voter registration, and we use creative storytelling to inspire action and solidarity.
Role
We’re seeking multiple
Volunteer Content Creators
to help bring our campaigns to life through bold, creative, and impactful visuals and short-form videos. This volunteer will create content for our digital platforms, helping us spark conversations and mobilize people to take action. Managed by: Executive Director What You’ll Do (3–5 hrs/week) Design graphics, short videos, and other creative content for our campaigns. Tailor content for platforms including: our WordPress-based website, YouTube, Facebook, Threads, Twitter/X, Instagram, BlueSky, TikTok, Keela email blasts, Twitch, and Discord. Collaborate with leadership to align content with campaign goals and deadlines. Provide regular status updates and meet deadlines through open communication. What We’re Looking For Previous experience creating digital content (video + graphics). Strong creative voice, with a passion for social justice and community organizing. Ability to work independently while communicating proactively. A portfolio link or 3 examples of past work (required).
