Join us as a Senior UX Researcher at RentSpree, the nation’s leading home rental software.

Location

Seattle, WA (hybrid; 2x/week in‑office)

What You’ll Do

  • Identify high‑impact research opportunities and ask the right questions to move the work forward.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to deeply understand product goals, user needs, and the broader business context.
  • Plan with purpose—scope timelines that balance depth and speed, focusing effort where it will have the greatest impact.
  • Own end‑to‑end research initiatives: from defining the right methods to delivering insights that shape product direction across the lifecycle.
  • Communicate insights effectively: craft compelling narratives that drive alignment and inform decision‑making at all levels.
  • Champion research quality and uphold high standards while adapting to the pace and constraints of a fast‑moving startup environment.
  • Contribute to our design team’s culture and strategy, fostering collaboration, curiosity, and continuous learning.

Skills You Bring (Required)

  • 5+ years of experience conducting research for digital products, preferably in fast‑paced, startup or scale‑up environments.
  • Strong strategic thinking; connects user insights to business goals and product strategy.
  • High research rigor paired with pragmatism: knows when to go deep and when to move fast.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, capable of translating complex findings to diverse audiences.
  • Collaborative mindset; excels as a collaborative team player and a self‑starter.
  • Adaptability: navigates ambiguity with confidence and adjusts quickly as priorities shift.
  • Bias for action: takes initiative, moves ideas forward, and focuses on impact.
  • Growth mindset: continuously evolves skills, embraces challenges, and helps others grow alongside.

  • Experience designing and building tools in small, fast‑moving teams.
  • Background in behavioral sciences (psychology, anthropology, sociology, etc.).
