You will be the Visual Media Content Creator for the Visual Communications Team. Our team is responsible for crafting compelling visual narratives that drive engagement across internal and external audiences.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Visual Media Content Creator you will be responsible for producing cinematic‑quality video and impactful photography that elevates our storytelling. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Conceptualize, shoot, and edit high‑impact videos that align with strategic communication goals.
Capture, retouch, and curate photography for use in digital, print, and presentation media.
Manage media assets, ensuring proper metadata, version control, and archival.
Partner with subject‑matter experts and cross‑functional partners to translate technical content into visual stories.
Stay current with emerging visual‑media tools and techniques to continuously raise production quality.

Basic Qualifications
Applicant must provide a photo portfolio and video demo reel to be considered for an interview.
Experience with various kinds of cinema video and/or DSLR cameras in both video and still capture.
Experience with lighting instruments and interview settings.
Knowledge of video techniques using a variety of natural and artificial light sources.
Demonstrated photo and video editing experience in Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance, US citizenship is required.
Ability to travel as needed (up to 25%).
Desired Skills
Experience with studio and location lighting and audio.
Strong understanding of shot composition for video.
Strong understanding of visual storytelling.
Experience in single and multi‑camera productions.
Experience shooting to a video storyboard.
Experience using master brand elements in video editing.
Enhanced video post‑production editing skills using Premiere Pro.
Experience in photo editing skills using Lightroom and Photoshop.
Proficient in motion graphics using After Effects.
Basic understanding of graphic design and demonstrated ability to work with graphic designers.
Basic understanding of sound recording for digital production.
Experience working within a cloud‑based photo and video environment.
Ability to follow established workflow using project management tools.
Understanding working under Creative Director and Art Director guidance.
Ability to work under strict deadlines with competing priorities.
Capable of balancing a project’s creative requirements with schedule, budget, and resource limitations.
Ability to work occasionally outside normal business hours and weekends.
Security Clearance Statement
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret.

Ability to Work Remotely
Part‑time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
