Marketing Manager – Contract/Part-Time (6 months) Company: Direct Agents

Location: NYC Office (On-site)

Schedule: 3 to 4 days per week, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Duration: 6‑month contract

Compensation: $38‑45 per hour depending on experience

THE ROLE

Website

Contribute design and content ideas

Lead new page development and any redesigns

Continuously evaluate for improvements

Work with SEO team to optimize content and design

Paid Media

Work with paid media team to establish and manage evergreen and special campaign strategy

Manage external paid media partner relationships and campaigns

Content

Oversee and ensure consistent content development inclusive of general thought leadership, quick‑response trend POVs, white papers, and other material

Fully manage email & LinkedIn newsletters

Lead podcast and webinar organization and execution

Awards & Events

Work closely with leadership and client teams to identify and submit for industry awards & recognition

Identify conference opportunities and lead communication to land speaking opportunities for Direct Agents thought leaders

Work with leadership to plan and execute client events (dining, webinars, in‑person thought leadership)

Organize and plan events in collaboration with key partners such as Google, Facebook, etc., both virtually and in‑person

Research new event ideas, venues, and vendors to enhance event experiences that leave attendees inspired, and our brand shining brightly

Sales & Marketing Materials

Assist with sales deck design and storytelling to convey our value in the most impactful way

Work with client teams to develop case studies and POVs

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to create engaging marketing assets, including videos, GIFs, and other promotional content

Innovation and Impact Dive into the future of marketing, staying ahead of trends, and innovating fearlessly. Contribute to groundbreaking marketing initiatives that not only make waves in our industry but redefine the game altogether.

Leadership Manage internal and external teams to most effectively deliver on your objectives. Cultivate a collaborative atmosphere, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and mutual support.

DESIRED BACKGROUND

Marketing Management: 4+ years of marketing management experience, professional services or B2B industry preferred

Communication & Storytelling: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to craft compelling and unique messaging

Strategic Visionary: Ability to understand and effectively drive “big picture” business goals

Results Driven: Ability to achieve measurable business outcomes

Creative Eye: Ability to create visually appealing and informative presentations across tools like Google Slides and PowerPoint

Proactive & Agile: Must be self‑motivated and able to take the initiative to get the job done with the ability to adapt swiftly to changing priorities

Foundational Skills: Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills

This role is based in our NYC office and you must reside or be willing to relocate within commuting distance of the office for this role.
