Ping Identity
At Ping Identity, we believe in making digital experiences both secure and seamless for all users, without compromise. We call this digital freedom. And it's not just something we provide our customers. It's something that inspires our company. People don't come here to join a culture that's built on digital freedom. They come to cultivate it.
Our intelligent, cloud identity platform lets people shop, work, bank, and interact wherever and however they want. Without friction. Without fear.
While protecting digital identities is at the core of our technology, protecting individual identities is at the core of our culture. We champion every identity. One of our core values, Respect Individuality, reminds us to celebrate differences so you are empowered to bring your authentic self to work.
We're headquartered in Denver, Colorado and we have offices and employees around the globe. We serve the largest, most demanding enterprises worldwide, including more than half of the Fortune 100. At Ping Identity, we're changing the way people and businesses think about cybersecurity, digital experiences, and identity and access management.
Manager, Design We’re seeking a highly experienced, strategic, and hands‑on Manager, Design to lead our internal design team within the marketing organization and own the visual and experiential expression of our brand across all marketing channels. This is an in‑house role within a fast growing market leader in enterprise identity security. You will lead a design team, refine design operations, set standards, and elevate our creative output. This is a great opportunity to shape and elevate an in‑house design team in a growth‑oriented tech company, driving brand & design maturity. This is a 100% remote role and reports to the Director of Creative Services.
You will
Manage, curate and evolve the visual design strategy for the company
Lead the design team through concept to execution: ideation, design, review, delivery across digital, print, video, events, web, sales/marketing collateral
Develop and maintain scalable design systems, templates, and guidelines to ensure consistency of brand voice, tone, and visual language across all channels
Champion emerging tools, trends, and innovations in design (e.g., generative and agentic AI, new design techniques, interactive formats) and evaluate how they can be applied to our current marketing environment
Collaborate cross‑functionally: Campaigns, Demand Gen, Product and Solution Marketing, Web Team, Communications, UX/Product Design, Project Management — ensuring alignment, prioritization, and capacity planning for design work
Mentor, manage and grow a team of designers and external agencies, freelancers and contractors. Provide feedback, career development, and foster a creative culture
Oversee asset production: ensure creative deliverables meet quality standards, deadlines, budget, and business objectives. Adapt for multi‑channel campaigns, global/localization needs, and varying formats
Act as a visual brand steward: ensure the visual brand is protected, elevated, and correctly implemented across all touchpoints and geographies
Participate in strategic planning: contribute to marketing and brand strategy, campaign ideation, creative brief development, resource allocation, and roadmap discussions
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or related field
5‑10+ years of experience in design/creative roles within a B2B technology or SaaS company (or similar enterprise environment)
Strong portfolio of B2B design work: brand identity, campaign collateral, digital assets, web and digital, sales materials. Cyber or identity security experience is a strong plus
Expert proficiency in design tools: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects) and familiarity with modern workflows (component libraries, design systems)
Excellent visual sensibility: typography, color theory, layout, digital and print design, motion/animation
Experience working in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities. Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Strong communicator: able to present design concepts to senior leadership, provide constructive feedback, and influence cross‑functional partners
Strategic mindset: you understand the business value of design in a B2B setting (e.g., lead generation, brand perception, sales enablement) and can translate business goals into creative strategy
What we’re looking for
You thrive at the intersection of creative excellence and business impact
You are comfortable being both strategic and hands‑on—able to pitch a design vision and also roll up your sleeves
You are a builder: you create or refine the design process, systems, and team culture
You are curious and forward‑thinking: you stay ahead of design trends, leading your team in experimentation and innovation
You are collaborative: you build strong relationships across functions and effectively influence others
