About the Role We’re seeking a highly skilled and collaborative Manager of Brand & Packaging Design with strong visual design, brand system execution, and packaging experience to bring Flybar’s creative vision to life. This role is central to ensuring our brands are expressed consistently and effectively everywhere: on shelves, online, and in the hands of millions of families.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute packaging design from concept through print production, ensuring all assets align with established brand guidelines.
Uphold and implement Flybar’s visual identity across all brands and touchpoints, maintaining consistency across packaging, digital, and retail.
Create and manage digital assets for e‑commerce (imagery, A+ content, video) to optimize product listings and drive conversion.
Manage the end‑to‑end packaging design process, including dieline execution, creative reviews, and print quality control.
Collaborate with product development, marketing, and licensing teams to ensure packaging meets brand, retail, and legal requirements.
Support the redesign of Flybar’s corporate website by providing visual design assets and UX direction to external developers.
Work closely with global design and photography teams (US and China) to ensure timely delivery of assets and adherence to creative standards.
Coordinate with and provide clear direction to external agencies and freelance designers.
Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to junior designers, fostering skill development and creative growth.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on packaging design and brand systems.
A strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to execute within established brand guidelines across packaging and digital media.
Experience managing packaging design projects for consumer goods (toys, lifestyle, or CPG a plus).
Practical understanding of retail and e‑commerce design requirements (e.g., Walmart, Amazon image standards).
High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and experience working with packaging dielines.
Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
A collaborative team player with strong communication skills, able to both give and receive feedback effectively.
