Position Summary CVS Media Exchange (CMX) is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for our suppliers, merchants, stores, GMs, brand advertisers, agencies, and clients. Our full‑funnel ad solutions leverage CVS’s in‑store and online data, extensive reach, and unique positioning in the pharmacy and provider space to provide measurable results for our clientele.

As Lead Director, In‑Store Experiential, you will be responsible for CMX’s full In‑Store product offering including digital screens, audio and experiential activations. You will work closely with category pods to identify, sell and manage our in‑store products, lead a team of Experiential Specialists, set sales targets, develop strategies, monitor performance, and build customer relationships.

What You Will Do

Contribute to business objectives by creating a sales strategy that achieves industry‑wide In‑Store Experiential sales targets within the annual operating plan.

Advise management on broad approaches and areas of opportunity to meet targets and long‑range plans.

Drive cross‑team/functional workstreams by tracking against key performance metrics and creating playbooks.

Provide overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs, and developing, communicating, and implementing business strategies.

Measure outcomes, identify improvement opportunities, promote a customer orientation, and sponsor continuous learning.

Develop internal and external partnerships to maximize business goals, including community outreach initiatives.

Attract and maintain a highly skilled workforce by diagnosing capability gaps, recruiting, and developing talent.

Build, lead, and develop a team by providing guidance, feedback, and career development conversations.

Cultivate an environment of integrity and ethics.

Required Qualifications

10+ years in retail media advertising or retail/e‑commerce agency experience, including audio sales and digital screen sales experience.

4+ years managing high‑performing media sales teams.

Strong network of decision makers in the in‑store environment.

Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (HS Diploma and 4 years of experience) required. Master’s or MBA preferred.

Work Hours & Type 40 hours per week. Full‑time. Hybrid: 3 days in the office (Tuesday–Thursday) at one of our hubs (NYC, Boston/Wellesley, or Chicago).

Pay Range $105,000 – $231,132 annually.
