Position Summary

This role will lead Rare Beauty’s global social strategy and content ecosystem across all owned, paid, and emerging channels. You’ll blend creative vision with data‑driven insights to craft culturally resonant storytelling that builds community, drives engagement and inspires conversation around the brand, products, and purpose. You’ll keep Rare Beauty on‑trend and speak directly to the consumer through digital‑first initiatives and compelling storytelling. Responsibilities

Lead end‑to‑end content and social strategy from development to execution, including creative concepting, ideation, scriptwriting, copywriting, filming, editing, and delivery of assets on time to key stakeholders. Produce content in short‑form video, long‑form video, still photography, social graphics, and additional assets as needed. Identify new social trends and platform features that align with Rare Beauty’s community‑first approach. Partner with the Creative team to maintain consistency in visual identity and tone of voice. Push the boundaries of storytelling with first‑to‑market concepts. Drive meaningful two‑way engagement with Rare Beauty’s community across all touchpoints. Translate data into actionable insights to refine content strategy and maximize brand impact. Share monthly reporting and key learnings to inform future strategies. Lead a team of Social & Content marketers, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of projects from kickoff to completion and inspiring junior team members. Partner with platforms and agencies to stay ahead of innovation and upcoming trends. Brief external agencies and photographers to create social‑first content for organic social, paid social, product pages, marketing reels, and more. Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to inform critical content strategy decisions, offering recommendations based on content insights and consumer pain points. Provide thought leadership around what will cut through with this audience. Serve as on‑camera talent for live streams, virtual events, and social content that resonates with Rare Beauty’s community of 14 M+. Ensure Rare Beauty is first‑to‑market with new platform features across organic and paid social media. Requirements

7+ years of experience in social media, content strategy, or digital marketing. Proven track record of growing large‑scale social communities and leading culturally resonant brand storytelling. Deep understanding of social‑first trends and platform nuances. Strong creative instincts with the ability to translate brand objectives into social‑first thumbnail‑stopping content. Excellent leadership, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills. Strong ability to multitask. Physical Demands
