Base pay range
$75,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr
This role supports the Firm’s Marketing and Business Development initiatives, reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer in supporting all the marketing and BD initiatives of the Firm and its various practices and sectors.
Take lead in creation of client alerts, announcements, invitations, and other marketing collateral pieces, using e-marketing platform and design software, as appropriate.
Oversee coordination of media plan and production of advertisements.
Maintain the Firm’s website and social media presence by drafting website news items and social media posts, and creating appropriate social media graphics to accompany posts.
Manage new content on Firm blogs, including review of new attorney posts.
Manage revisions to attorney bios, practice group pieces and other descriptive pieces.
Oversee proposal process for potential engagements, working directly with attorneys on responses to RFPs and materials needed for new client pitches, including developing customized content.
Manage sponsorship details for practice groups and individual attorneys.
Manage the Firm's annual client gift program from end to end, including vendor selection and coordination, collaborating with attorneys to fulfill gift requests, and consolidating individual orders into efficient bulk orders.
Assist with the effective use of the Firm’s Contact Relationship Management System, including attorney onboarding and CRM-related training, development of appropriate contact mailing lists for targeted marketing communications, and coordination of BD-related CRM workspaces.
Assist with client events, including creating invitations, providing onsite assistance as needed and contributing to follow‑up efforts.
Collaborate with other members of the marketing and BD team on special projects and day‑to‑day tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Strong sense of initiative, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
High proficiency with Canva and Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
Knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
Knowledge of CRM platforms and website content management systems
Strong aptitude for new technologies, with minimal learning curve
Highly organized and exceptionally attentive to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including excellent proofreading abilities
Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills to interact with attorneys at all levels, staff and vendors
Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple assignments and deadlines while remaining flexible to new situations
Proactive in assuming responsibility and anticipating needs in the execution of marketing projects.
Works well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
Strong project management skills and sound judgment
Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
Knowledge of podcast editing software a plus
Requirements
3+ years of experience in a professional environment, preferably law firm or professional services
Bachelor’s degree required
Law firm marketing background strongly preferred
Understanding of law firm CRM and marketing automation tools a plus
The anticipated salary range will be $75K - $100K.
Depending on the role, the actual salary noted may vary based on several factors, including, but not limited to, the applicant’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, and any certifications or professional licenses held.
