Overview
Complex Marketing Manager - Hilton Des Moines Downtown and Doubletree Cedar Rapids. This role supports two premier Hilton properties in Iowa, with time split between the Hilton Des Moines Downtown and the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Cedar Rapids Convention Complex. Responsibilities
All Marketing Strategy, Planning & Execution for both hotels under the leadership of the Director of Sales & Marketing. Assist in the development, management, execution and measurement of marketing/branding strategies, including Ecommerce, Digital Audits/Merchandising, social media, Paid Digital & Traditional Advertising, Video/Photography Shoots & Content Management. Focus efforts on maximizing commercial performance with success measures including budget achievement, topline revenue growth, expense optimization, and channel/market share objectives. Build alignment with on-property, regional, and brand marketing teams. Execute the tactical elements of the annual marketing plan. Demonstrate strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects. Stay current with new digital strategies, trends and technologies. Qualifications
3+ years of combined marketing, advertising, and/or ecommerce marketing experience. Prior hotel/travel industry experience is preferred but not required. Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in marketing and/or public relations preferred. Supportive Services
Participates in trade/business related functions, events, conferences and workshops as appropriate. Performs special projects and other responsibilities as assigned; may participate in task forces, committees and cluster groups as requested. Assists the Directors in preparing ad-hoc presentations for hotel executive committee meetings, ownership reviews and corporate hotel reviews; may present in commercial meetings when required. Business Acumen
Extensive knowledge of marketing communication mediums including traditional, digital, and social channels. Proficiency in data analysis and translating insights into compelling narratives. Ability to navigate a matrix organization. Project management and copywriting skills. Software/Program Skills: Microsoft Office, CMS platforms, Digital Analytics, Canva, Adobe/Photoshop. The Benefits
