Marketing and Social Media Specialist
to elevate the client’s brand presence and drive guest engagement. In this key role, you’ll shape the company’s digital footprint, execute compelling campaigns, and foster community connections. If you’re a self‑starter with a passion for hospitality, we want to hear from you!
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the ideal candidate has digital marketing experience in hospitality, restaurant, and real estate organizations and is proactive, organized, collaborative, team‑oriented and digitally savvy. The position is in‑office 3 days per week in the Los Angeles, California metro area.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Digital, Social Media & Content Strategy
Maintain and update all brand websites, ensuring accuracy and a seamless user experience.
Implement SEO/UX best practices and monitor site analytics to optimize performance.
Manage and execute a comprehensive 12‑month social media and promotional calendar across all concepts.
Curate and create engaging visual content (photos, reels) and compelling captions, maintaining a consistent weekly posting cadence.
Actively monitor and respond to social media inquiries within 24 hours.
Maintain a well‑organized digital asset library for photos, videos, and templates.
Brand & Creative Governance
Safeguard brand by ensuring consistent use of logos, colors, typography, and photographic style, actively maintaining the brand style guide.
Draft and proofread all guest‑facing copy for menus, signage, web content, and email communications.
Provide quick‑turn design support using Canva/Adobe.
Ensure legal compliance for contests, alcohol promotions, and marketing claims.
Guest Engagement & Reputation Management
Grow and segment email/SMS lists, implementing automated drip campaigns and win‑back strategies.
Champion our loyalty app and reputation management programs (Google, Yelp), mining insights to enhance guest experience.
Monitor brand sentiment and swiftly elevate issues or crisis communications.
Marketing Strategy & Planning
Conduct in‑depth market and competitor research to identify key insights and opportunities.
Define target audiences, brand positioning, and optimal channel mix for all marketing initiatives.
Develop and execute annual/quarterly marketing plans and local store marketing (LSM) playbooks.
Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation and reconciliation of spend against plan.
Campaigns, Events & Local Store Marketing
Design, launch, and track performance of paid and organic campaigns across email, SMS, print, and PR channels.
Plan and coordinate engaging events, including grand openings, seasonal promotions, charity nights, and pop‑ups.
Develop and distribute LSM kits (flyers, tent cards) and provide training to store "marketing captains."
Support catering and group sales efforts with updated presentations and menus.
Analytics, Reporting & Optimization
Develop and maintain a concise weekly marketing dashboard, tracking key metrics such as sales lift, traffic, engagement, and ROI.
Monitor website traffic, social media performance, and promotional effectiveness.
Prepare post‑mortem recap decks, highlighting successes, lessons learned, and recommended next steps.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Vendor Management
Collaborate closely with Operations and General Managers to align promotions with inventory and labor realities.
Partner with Real Estate and Build‑Out teams on marketing needs for new locations.
Manage vendor and partner contracts, as well as co‑promotional agreements.

POSITION LOCATION & RELOCATION ELIGIBILITY: This role will work hybrid onsite in the office 3 days a week in the Los Angeles, CA metro area. Local Los Angeles metro area candidates will be given preference and priority. Qualified candidates willing to self‑relocate to the Los Angeles metro area will also be considered.
KEY REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
College degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or closely‑related area, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
5+ years of digital marketing, brand and marketing campaign experience in hospitality, restaurant and real‑estate industries.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to build relationships with team members and management.
Proven hands‑on experience with Instagram, Meta Business Suite, social media scheduling tools (e.g., Later / Hootsuite), email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp / Klaviyo), and design software (Canva / Adobe).
Comfortable analyzing data with Meta Insights and basic Excel for ROI calculations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E‑mail). Prior experience utilizing database software (Access).
Thrives in a fast‑paced, hospitality‑driven culture.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS INFORMATION:
Base Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
