M·A·C SFO Cosmetics is seeking passionate, creative and customer focused Makeup Artists to join our team. As a MAC Artist, you will embrace our brand's commitment, represent the image, products and culture of the company to the Customer. Their primary responsibility is customer service and sales, achieved through exceptional communications skills and artistic abilities. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, maintaining the store environment and operations and assisting with administrative duties.

Job Responsibilities

Greet customer within 30 seconds upon their arrival- ask if they need assistance, if unable to assist customer at that time, ensure that someone will be there shortly.

Provide personalized makeup consultations and applications tailored to individual client needs.

Demonstrate and sell MAC products with product knowledge and excellent customer service.

Build customer relationships through advice and product recommendations.

Maintain a clean, organized and visually appealing counter/work station.

Stay current with beauty trends, techniques, and MAC product launches.

Meet or exceed sales goals and contribute to the team’s success.

Maintain brand standards at all times.

Actively participate in M·A·C training sessions and partnered store mandatory training sessions.

Actively participate in cleaning displayer units, tools, and testers throughout the day, and more thoroughly at night to prepare for next day's business.

Maintain tester units in proper schematic order.

Perform opening/closing duties, including securing cash registers and store security.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.

Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Demonstrated customer service experience.

Ability to multitask and resolve minor customer service conflicts.

Alcohol Beverage Awareness Cared (TAM Card) may be required.

Additional Security clearance may be required.

Satisfactory Criminal Background Check and Drug Testing may be required.

Frequent standing, walking, climbing, crouching, bending, pushing, or pulling.

Normal or corrected vision and hearing.

Can distinguish varying or specific colors, patterns, or materials to assist customers.

Fluency in English is required for training, customer interactions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Typically in a consistent temperature.

Use of fine motor hand functions.

Lift 0-60 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
