Job Overview The Regional Vice President (RVP) for Life Sales is the central resource and relationship manager for their assigned territory (CA, AZ), reporting to the Vice President, National Sales Manager. Primary focus is business development, product positioning, marketing strategies, planning, research and problem solving.

Responsibilities

Develop regional business plans that achieve and exceed sales targets.

Prioritize business plans through segmentation to achieve highest return on sales production.

Continuously analyze territories to assess market changes, personnel shifts, or relationship needs and revise business plans accordingly.

Build and maintain strong relationships with leaders and agents; serve as initial contact for problem resolution.

Lead or coordinate training, webcasts, and conference calls for leaders and agents.

Proactively set sales meetings and visits, prepare agendas, summarize next steps and follow through.

Partner closely with assigned Internal Wholesaler and/or Strategic Account Manager to communicate sales ideas, case management and customer needs.

Actively manage applications to maximize placement and production.

Organize and maintain orderly files on all customers.

Report sales activity and production as required.

Maintain successful relationships with internal clients including Marketing, Compliance, Underwriting and Operations.

Maintain ongoing knowledge of industry trends, underwriting regulations, advanced marketing concepts and company products.

Leverage the Company’s expertise by working effectively with Product Development, Competition & Research, Advanced Sales, etc.

Consistently look for “value adds” through service and selling ideas.

Keep an ethical and compliant region based on company and regulatory standards.

Operate the region on a cost‑effective basis within the budget.

Qualifications

Expert knowledge of Life Insurance, IUL, UL and Term, and familiarity with Advanced Sales concepts.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent presentation skills.

Sound discretion and judgment abilities.

Strong listening skills.

Demonstrated record of initiative, leadership, problem‑solving and adaptability.

Experience with public speaking and presenting to targeted audiences.

Bachelor’s Degree plus Insurance designations (CLU and/or ChFC).

Minimum 5+ years in direct life insurance sales.

Work Location & Travel Remote

Travel up to 50%.

Compensation Average compensation starts at around $75,000 (combination of hourly pay and commissions). Competitive benefits are offered.

SEC Rule Compliance

The role is a “covered associate” under SEC Rule 206(4)-5, 17 CFR.

Candidates must not have made political contributions that would disqualify the candidate or Corebridge Financial under 17 CFR 275.206(4)-5.
