Location: Framingham, MA / onsite 3 days per week (T-W-Th)Job Type: W2 ContractDuration: 6-months with the potential for extension or conversionCompensation Range: 55-62/hourCella is seeking a talented Connected UX/Product Designer with our client, an American manufacturing company known for its audio equipment, including headphones, speakers, and sound systems for homes, cars, and professional use.The Connected UX Designer will join the Product Design organization. This candidate will be involved early in the product development process, from brainstorming ideas to ensuring design quality and integrity through launch. Using your full range of interaction, visual, motion, and product thinking skills, you will realize on-product experiences, focusing on designing the interactions that are performed directly on the product, such as touch interfaces and physical controls, as well as the full user experience from unboxing to set up to daily use.Portfolio Required. Responsibilities:Collaborate with Designers, Researchers, Engineers, Writers, and Product Managers to deliver compelling UX solutions for our connected audio products.Leverage user research and cutting-edge technologies to craft cohesive experiences.Implement and maintain the design system, utilizing reusable design patterns and assets to ensure consistency and efficiency.Create user journeys, storyboards, wireframes, and UX documentation.Understand and balance the priorities of internal stakeholders, engineers, and business needs.Track and communicate project status.Manage workload and meet deadlines.Mentor junior teammates and/or co-op interns. Qualifications:BS/BA degree in User Experience, Human Factors Engineering, or related discipline.Minimum of 5 years related work experience.Experience with connectivity technologies (Bluetooth, WiFi) preferred.Portfolio that demonstrates creating concepts and detailing the customer journey.Strong design fundamentals (typography, color, spacing, etc.)Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.Capable of investigating new tools, and comfortable learning new highly technical tools that allow better collaboration with engineering.Focus on details, organization, and clear communication.Ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.A collaborative attitude and excellent teamwork skills.Motivation to produce and improve high-quality deliverables.Must include a link to a portfolio to be considered for this role.JobID: 112025-115106#LI-Cella#LI-CC1#PLEqual Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.At Cella, a randstad digital company, we welcome people of all abilities and want to ensure that our hiring and interview process meets the needs of all applicants.
