THE ROLE OF A COREPOWER YOGA STUDIO COORDINATOR
As a Studio Coordinator (SC), you live your power by supporting the world?class CorePower Yoga studio experience including coordinating studio operations and holding the studio to the highest health and safety standards. This part?time, entry?level position (18?29 h/wk) lets you learn the business and develop the skillset to operate a studio.
Studio Presence and Guiding the Student Experience
- Act as an ambassador of the CorePower Yoga values at all times and consistently inspire these values in others.
- Support the Studio Manager in achieving company and studio level goals: membership growth, retail sales, community outreach, teacher and SET recruitment, and programming enrollment.
- Commit to a flexible schedule of 18?29 hours per week in?studio for operations coordination and teaching (if certified).
- Serve as the studio?level point of contact for students and staff when the Studio Manager is absent.
- Maintain an appropriate level of studio supply inventory so all provisions and amenities are available for students at all times.
- Engage and know your studio community consistently; greet students by name and spend quality time at the front desk fostering community.
- Support our teachers learning experience with POS and pre/post?class duties.
Coordinate and Execute Health, Safety and Cleanliness Protocol
- Uphold high standards for studio cleanliness, functionality, safety, humidity, music, and overall environment.
- Communicate Smart Health Protocol to students upon entry and throughout their visit.
- Act as an extension of the Studio Experience Team (SET): clean studio, stock amenities, and enforce CPY cleanliness protocol.
- Support SET scheduling, stepping in for no?call/no?shows, and training.
- Lead orientation and training for new SET members on cleanliness protocol and role expectations.
- Serve as a liaison between Studio Manager, teaching, and SET teams for operational systems: POS, Online Reservation, Subbing App, HRIS, Help Desk.
Teaching Schedule
- Support the studio class schedule by teaching a minimum of 6 branded CorePower Yoga classes per week and subbing additional classes as needed.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Must demonstrate CorePower Yoga core values.
- Excellent oral communication skills, professionalism, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Experience in customer service.
- Completion of a Yoga Alliance certified 200?hour program is preferred.
- Yoga Sculpt teacher training is preferred.
- Comfortable with studio systems: HRIS, intranet, POS, scheduling, payroll.
- Ability to build relationships with diverse personalities at all seniority levels.
- Thrives in a fast?paced environment; can prioritize under multiple deadlines.
- Proven self?starter with enthusiasm for new projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- College (BA/BS) preferred.
THE FINE PRINT
- Availability must match business needs: morning, evening, weekend, and some holiday flexibility required.
- Must be able to move around studio space and lift up to 25 lbs.
- If certified to teach, must step in to teach with little to no notice while scheduled in studio.
