Responsibilities
Drive the marketing technology strategy and digital experience ecosystem at Santander Consumer USA.
Oversee the campaign orchestration platform, ensuring effective, compliant, and timely delivery of customer and dealer communications across digital channels.
Guide marketing automation initiatives and lead the product management team responsible for optimizing the customer and dealer digital experience across Santander’s online properties.
Shape the vision and execution of Santander’s email, SMS, and multi‑channel marketing programs, enhancing engagement and retention through personalized, data‑informed communications.
Oversee the evolution of customer‑ and dealer‑facing digital platforms, ensuring intuitive design, accessibility, and consistent brand representation.
Lead the QA function for web deployments, championing governance, accountability, and continuous improvement within an Agile framework.
Marketing Automation & Campaign Strategy – Oversee the strategy, governance, and optimization of the email marketing and campaign orchestration platforms.
Guide the development of multi‑channel marketing programs that drive engagement, retention, and brand consistency across diverse audiences.
Establish processes and best practices for campaign execution, quality assurance, and analytics in partnership with marketing operations and analytics teams.
Direct campaign calendar planning across business units to ensure timely and coordinated delivery.
Collaborate with data and analytics teams to advance segmentation, personalization, and measurement capabilities.
Provide leadership and mentorship to marketers and technologists focused on campaign strategy, design, and optimization.
Lead a team of product managers responsible for customer‑ and dealer‑facing websites.
Define and prioritize the digital product roadmap, balancing innovation with operational excellence and compliance.
Partner with UX, design, IT, and compliance stakeholders to deliver high‑quality, user‑centered experiences.
Oversee Agile delivery practices, ensuring effective sprint planning, backlog management, and continuous improvement.
Promote customer‑centric design and data‑driven decision‑making to optimize usability, accessibility, and site performance.
Direct the QA function for digital deployments, establishing rigorous standards for testing, release readiness, and post‑launch validation.
Partner with IT, business intelligence, and data teams to align marketing data architecture and ensure seamless integration between CRM, CMS, and campaign platforms.
Ensure adherence to regulatory, privacy, and brand standards across all marketing technologies and digital touchpoints.
Define key metrics and governance frameworks for marketing technology performance, adoption, and compliance.
Stay informed of emerging trends in marketing automation, product management, Agile delivery, and digital experience innovation, recommending strategic opportunities for advancement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing, marketing technology, or marketing operations leadership.
3+ years of experience managing digital product or platform teams.5+ years of direct people management experience, leading cross‑functional or multidisciplinary teams.
Experience in financial services or other regulated industries (preferred).
Proven success directing initiatives in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
Strong understanding of marketing technology platforms and ecosystems (email, campaign orchestration, CRM, CMS, analytics).
Familiarity with enterprise tools such as Oracle Responsys, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Adobe Campaign, and WordPress CMS.
Experience using or directing work in project management applications such as Workfront or JIRA.
Deep knowledge of marketing operations best practices, data governance, and compliance requirements.
Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence at all levels of the organization.
Analytical and strategic thinker who can translate insights into actionable direction.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Highly organized and adept at prioritizing multiple initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.
Nice to Have
Established work and management history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
Experience in Microsoft Office products.

Base Pay Range Minimum
$93,750.00 USD Maximum
$160,000.00 USD
