Job Summary The Logistics Project Manager – Design will oversee planning and execution of operations-related projects within the Interior Design division. Ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality across logistics, warehouse, and field operations. This role is responsible for coordinating resources, managing timelines, improving workflows, and supporting cross-functional communication between departments and management.
Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and monitor projects from initiation to completion.
Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and field teams to improve workflow and efficiency.
Develop project schedules, resource plans, and reporting tools for management visibility.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and clients on project requirements and timelines.
Oversee warehouse activities, including loading, unloading, and inventory control.
Supervise warehouse staff, ensuring safety and security standards are met.
Communicate with designated management regarding issues and workflow.
Evaluate productivity and performance of warehouse staff to ensure successful completion of services.
Ensure that all service level agreements and measurables for company and clients are achieved.
Due to the dynamic nature of logistics project management, Project Managers might be required to work overtime, including evenings and weekends.
All other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in a warehouse environment, specifically dealing with the interior design industry.
Basic math and inventory management skills.
Valid Driver’s License.
Good communication skills and ability to work with a team.
Physical Requirements
Regularly lift 40+ pounds.
The ability to stay on your feet for 4+ hours at a time.
The ability to work at a desk for 4+ hours at a time.
Able to crouch, twist, and reach overhead.
Work Environment
The job is primarily set in a warehouse environment, which can include indoor and outdoor duties.
Possible onsite visits to job sites to oversee delivery and installation crews, while interacting with customers.
Varying temperatures, including potential exposure to extreme cold and hot conditions.
Compensation This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $50,000 to $65,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
