Job Purpose
The Remote Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Salesforce solutions that support AIU’s academic and administrative operations. This role focuses on Education Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Experience Cloud implementations, ensuring seamless integration across platforms. The developer will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and secure Salesforce solutions that enhance user experience and institutional performance.
Key Responsibilities
Design and customize Salesforce solutions across Education, Marketing, and Experience Clouds to improve system performance and user experience.
Configure Lightning (Aura/LWC), Flows, and declarative tools to support automation and efficiency.
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions aligned with institutional goals.
Integrate Salesforce with third‑party systems using APIs and middleware for seamless data exchange.
Conduct testing and validation to ensure solution quality and reliability.
Apply best practices in governance, security, and optimization to maintain compliance and stability.
Stay current with Salesforce updates and recommend enhancements to improve functionality.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Strong skills in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce configuration tools.
Experience integrating Salesforce with external platforms using REST/SOAP APIs.
Familiarity with Salesforce automation tools such as Flow, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules.
Proficiency in data migration tools like Data Loader or dataloader.io.
Self‑motivated, with strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Able to work effectively in a remote, cross‑functional environment.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (required).
3+ years of hands‑on Salesforce development experience, including work with Education Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, or cloud‑specific certifications).
