Responsibilities The Multimedia Specialist will lead end‑to‑end video, photography, and multimedia production that brings our brand and mission to life.
Plan and develop creative briefs, storyboards, and shot‑lists; manage project timelines and budgets.
Coordinate with partners to prepare subjects, schedule interviews, scout locations, and manage logistics.
Execute onsite production, including camera, lighting, and audio set‑up in clinical and non‑clinical settings.
Conduct on‑camera interviews, directing subjects to deliver brand‑aligned messaging.
Edit content with color‑correction, sound‑mixing, and finish using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, etc.
Integrate feedback, deliver final files, and maintain digital asset libraries and equipment.
Build and update the brand image library across all media types.
Role Requirements
Regular weekly travel across 115 Chicagoland locations; reliable personal vehicle; mileage reimbursement.
Flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight regional travel.
Qualifications Required Experience & Technical Skills
2–3 years of video production, photography, and multimedia storytelling.
Strong interviewer skills – develop questions, build rapport, elicit narratives.
Proficiency with DSLR cameras, lighting kits, audio gear, tripods, gimbals, and sliders.
Experience in editing and photo retouching with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, Bridge) and Final Cut Pro.
Color correction, sound mixing, and finishing for internal and external content.
Digital asset management best practices.
Organizational skills for multitasking; comfort working with healthcare staff.
Preferred Skills
Motion graphics experience – After Effects or other animation tools.
Drone operation experience and a current FAA Part 107 license.
Adobe InDesign and Illustrator proficiency for brand integration.
Portfolio Requirements
Digital portfolio with at least 10 examples across video, photography, and multimedia projects.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Multimedia Arts, Communications, Photography, Journalism, or related field.
Equivalent experience and strong portfolio may substitute for degree.
Compensation Base pay range: $65,000–$80,000, based on skills, experience, education, certifications, location, and equity. Additional compensation via shift differentials, bonuses, and incentives.
