TK Elevator is seeking an experienced
Designer/Drafter II
in
Atlanta, GA.
This role will create technical drawings from ideas, concepts, instructions and diagrams into workable product designs.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Transform initial rough draft product designs into solid models, 3D models, 2D documents and assembly drawings using SolidWorks.
Create and update detailed drawings of designs and plans according to specifications and/or survey data.
Modify or add parametric equations within a working model.
Review engineering drawings and designs to ensure accuracy and adherence to established specifications and standards.
Train Level I Designer/Drafters.
Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Associate's Degree or Technical School and/or an experience equivalent in a manufacturing environment required.
Three or more years of design/drafting experience.
Ability to read, interpret and comprehend technical drawings and survey data.
Must possess knowledge of commonly-used drafting concepts, practices and procedures.
Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Experience with 3D modeling preferred.
SolidWorks experience required.
Must be able to understand and closely follow instructions and rough product designs and specifications.
Effective verbal and written communication skills are required.
