Brand Designer

We are seeking a Brand Designer to shape how Replit is experienced across the world. You will be responsible for evolving our identity system, crafting breakthrough design across campaigns and surfaces, and ensuring our brand shows up with clarity, consistency, and cultural impact.
You'll move fluidly from high-level concepting to meticulous execution, working closely with marketing, product, and external partners to bring the Replit story to life. This is a role for a designer who thrives at the intersection of systems and storytelling. Someone who can define timeless brand foundations while also creating standout expressions that inspire, resonate, and endure.
This role reports directly to the Executive Creative Director, ensuring close collaboration on vision, craft, and execution.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve Replit's global identity system (typography, color, motion, iconography, and design principles.)
- Lead design for high-profile product launches, campaigns, events, and cultural activations.
- Create scalable systems and guidelines that empower teams across the company to express the brand with excellence.
- Collaborate with writers, strategists, and agency partners.
- Elevate the quality of design across every touchpoint, advocating for craft, consistency, and design-led thinking.
- Explore new creative formats and cultural opportunities that push the Replit brand forward.
Minimum Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in brand design at leading agencies, technology companies, or in-house creative teams.
- A portfolio that demonstrates system-level design excellence and world-class creative execution across campaigns and platforms.
- Mastery of design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite; motion design proficiency a plus).
- Strong command of typography, color, composition, and motion, with a proven eye for detail and craft.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams at the intersection of marketing, product, and engineering.
- Ability to drive work from concept to final execution in fast-paced, iterative environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating or scaling brand identity systems globally.
- Exposure to motion design, web/digital platforms, and experiential activations.
- Strong presentation and communication skills able to inspire confidence in design direction across stakeholders.
- Interest in AI, creativity, and shaping the cultural narrative around new technologies.
