About the Role We’re hiring our first Head of Marketing — a hands-on, creative, and strategic marketer who can build our marketing foundation from the ground up while working hand in hand with our COO, Head of Sales and CEO. This is a broad, high-impact role that combines strategy, execution, and experimentation. You’ll lead everything from positioning and messaging to campaigns, content, and events — with support from leadership, our design agency, and external partners. You’ll be our brand storyteller, demand generator, and customer educator all in one — helping shape how the construction industry perceives Fractal Pay.
What You’ll Do Strategy & Positioning
Define Fractal’s marketing strategy and core messaging across audiences (partners, suppliers, and contractors)
Develop our brand voice, visual identity, and go-to-market narratives
Partner with the executive team to align marketing priorities with company objectives
Content & Campaigns
Write and oversee content for web, email, and social channels
Create email cadences and nurture sequences that engage customers and partners
Manage production of marketing collateral, one-pagers, decks, and event materials (in collaboration with our agency)
Support PR, media, and partnership announcements
Demand Generation & Enablement
Plan and execute digital campaigns (paid, organic, and co-marketing)
Build awareness and engagement around new product launches and partnerships
Equip our sales team with effective messaging, case studies, and collateral
Events & Community
Plan and execute industry events, trade shows, and partner webinars
Build community relationships with key players in construction tech and payments
What We’re Looking For 5–7 years of experience in B2B marketing (preferably fintech, SaaS, or payments)
A generalist mindset — you’re comfortable context-switching between strategy, copywriting, and execution
Strong writing and storytelling skills — you can explain complex ideas simply and persuasively
Analytical and resourceful — you use data and creativity to find scrappy, high-impact ways to drive growth
Experience collaborating with agencies (design, PR, or digital)
Comfortable in fast-moving startup environments with limited resources and structure
Bonus: Experience in or curiosity about the construction technology or building materials space
