This role is highly collaborative with the Digital Content Specialist, Digital Marketing and the Creative Design teams. Youll drive omni-channel social presence, elevate the brands storytelling, and ensure every post is optimized for both impact and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, present, and execute social media strategies that balance brand awareness and conversion goals across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube.
- Create campaign roadmaps for product launches, seasonal pushes, and cultural moments.
- Conduct social media audits, identify gaps, and implement improvements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure campaigns align with marketing, e-commerce, and retention initiatives.
Creative Storytelling & Content Execution
- Ideate, shoot and produce trend-forward content (reels, TikToks, YouTube shorts, behind-the-scenes, graphics, copy) that resonates with the brands audience.
- Participate in and capture live/real-time content during events, launches, and activations.
- Develop live strategies (shopping, tutorials, events) that boost engagement and conversions.
- Propose creative campaigns, promotions, and competitions that amplify reach.
Data, Analytics & Optimization
- Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance weekly and monthly with actionable insights.
- Use platform analytics, KPIs, and conversion data to inform content strategy and creative direction.
- Identify top-performing formats and replicate success across channels.
- Test and refine posting cadence, messaging, and creative for maximum ROI.
- Benchmark against competitors and translate learnings into opportunities.
Community & Influencer Growth
- Cultivate and expand the brands influencer, affiliate and brand ambassador network through proactive engagement and communication.
- Build and manage workflows for influencer, affiliate, and brand ambassador programs.
- Maintain strong relationships with creators to amplify reach and drive conversions.
- Monitor online feedback, reviews, and sentiment on published content to protect brand reputation.
What Youll Own
- Channel strategy, editorial calendar, and weekly test plan for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube.
- Creative briefs, scripts/storyboards, shot lists; creator/UGC sourcing & rights management.
- Trend/competitor scanning, AB tests to lift hold rate, view completion, shares/saves.
- Captions/CTAs, accessibility (on-screen text/closed captions), publishing cadence.
- Partner with Paid Social on ad?ready concepts (safe zones/durations/specs) and learnings loop.
- Confidently capture short?form video and photography, ensuring a polished, elevated, and brand?right aesthetic that is inherently social?first.
- Set up and dismantle camera equipment, microphones, lighting, props, and other necessary gear for shoots.
- Schedule and Publish content.
- May include travel to shoot content.
Must?have
- 3?5 yrs in social strategy with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube wins; elite hook/copy chops; strong creative direction.
- Fluent in platform specs, vertical or horizontal orientation, safe?zone thinking, caption best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 3?5 years of proven experience as a Digital Content Strategist or similar role in outdoor tools or home & garden industries.
- Strong balance of creativity and analytical expertise.
- Hands?on content creator: comfortable ideating, filming, and minimal editing quick?turn content.
- Deep knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube content strategy and execution, and platform algorithms.
- Proficient in analytics and social media management tools (native + third?party).
- Proficient in AI tools and social media management tools (native + third?party).
- Exceptional writing and copy skills, with a talent for storytelling.
- Ability to thrive in a fast?paced, collaborative, on?site environment.
- Organized and detail?oriented, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Salary $90,000-$105,000
