We are looking for a talented and imaginative Video Systems Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be crucial in managing and optimizing advanced video systems to support secure audiovisual environments. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge video technologies such as cameras, switchers, routers, LED walls, and recording/streaming equipment, ensuring top-notch video performance across various settings including conference rooms, control centers, and event spaces.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and operate video systems, ensuring seamless functionality of cameras, switchers, routers, projectors, LED walls, and streaming/recording devices.
  • Configure systems and troubleshoot any signal flow issues, guaranteeing equipment connectivity.
  • Maintain high image quality through frame synchronization, resolution, color balance, and aspect ratio management.
  • Ensure conference room A/V systems are fully operational, inclusive of monitors, video walls, and projection systems.
  • Track and update the inventory of video equipment, ensuring availability and operational efficiency.
  • Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior video technicians and support personnel.
  • Commit to continuous learning and stay updated on emerging video technologies and production techniques.

Basic Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering) with 4-8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 2-6 years of experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree(s).
  • Experience in providing on-site technical consultation and support for hardware, software, and network integration.
  • Strong knowledge of system administration, network installations, and software deployment practices.
  • Proven troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues across integrated systems.
  • Familiarity with configuration management, document management, and systems integration best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey technical information clearly to teams and clients.
  • Experience mentoring technical staff in a collaborative environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and commonly used system support tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in complex, multi-site environments with high operational demands.
  • Deep understanding of systems integration across platforms such as Windows, Linux, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures.
  • Knowledge of IT governance, change control processes, and enterprise policy/procedure development.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise networking equipment, firewalls, and security protocols.
  • Familiarity with scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) to improve integration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with technical documentation and standardizing workflows in compliance-focused environments.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, especially in solution design and technical consulting.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+/Security+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, ITIL Foundation) are advantageous.

Pay Range: $72,150.00 - $130,425.00

The compensation package is determined based on job responsibilities, education, experience, and market data.
