UX Designer

Full Time General hours overlapping team members - 8:00/8:30 -5:00. Some reasonable adjustments possible. Overtime is not expected but could be possible based upon business needs and will occur only when requested and approved by manager Job Description: A hands-on UX designer with experience in SaaS and enterprise software environments, adept at quickly understanding complex business challenges and translating them into high-velocity wireframes that drive ideation. Specific duties include:
Researching and understanding user needs and behaviors through methods such as user interviews, surveys, and product landscape Creating light user personas and user flows to identify key user journeys and pain points. Create mind maps, user flows Understand front-end development process and limitations (basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS is a plus) Understand, apply and promote our design thinking and design system Collaborating with stakeholders, such as Product Managers, to create quick design concepts and prototypes that align with business goals and technical constraints Conducting usability testing and gathering feedback from users to refine and iterate on designs based on research Continuously iterating on designs and testing new features to improve the user experience through the ideation and prototype phase Creating hi-fidelity and low fidelity designs type for multiple platforms such as mobile, web Creating a prototype for user testing and validation. Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field. Experience:
Preference 5+ years of experience in design with Enterprise SaaS software products. Must be proficient in Visual design and Information architecture. Experience with Figma required. Have experience with enterprise SaaS software products.
Experience with analytics products or new AI software is a plus Ability to ideate, iterate, learn, and improve designs based on verbal feedback /whiteboarding with senior leadership. Leverages Figma’s AI-powered workflows for rapid prototyping and collaborates seamlessly with senior leadership through whiteboarding and iterative design refinement Understand cloud-native app development (DevOps, Agile Methodology, microservices, cloud platforms, containers like Kubernetes and Docker, CI/CD) Support written and verbal communication in order to plan further work, explain and document ideas * Local candidates only – 100% onsite at the Santa Clara, CA office. No reconsideration for hybrid work. * The work will be mainly with a team in Santa Clara so it is important that we do not have anyone who is looking to get in at 10:00 and leave by 2:00 to beat the traffic. This limits the time with the local
team in Santa Clara. * Close proximity to the office should be a priority, 30 miles or less would be ideal. * Initial Assignment Length: fixed end date of January 30, 2026 but possibility of extension.
