This role ensures that our commercial storytelling, product strategy, and client value proposition are seamlessly aligned, empowering sales teams to engage clients with confidence and transparency.

This leader will play a pivotal role in crafting the narrative for Bloomberg Media’s rapidly growing video ecosystem — spanning linear, digital video, streaming, and OTT — ensuring that our premium content and technology solutions deliver measurable impact for advertisers. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with deep expertise in video advertising, a proficiency in B2B marketing, and a passion for translating innovation into business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Lead go-to-market strategy for new and evolving advertising products, with a focus on video, streaming, and OTT solutions.
  • Ensure product market fit through a deep knowledge of the needs of video ad buyers.
  • Define positioning, messaging, and narratives that articulate Bloomberg’s differentiated value in video and cross-platform advertising.
  • Partner with Product and Commercial Strategy to prioritize innovation opportunities and ensure readiness for global market rollout.

Sales Enablement and Packaging

  • Build compelling product narratives and sales materials that simplify sophisticated capabilities and highlight measurable outcomes — including one-sheets, playbooks, and case studies.
  • Training programs in partnership with global sales and enablement leadership to ensure consistent messaging and adoption across markets and formats.
  • Translate performance insights, client feedback, and competitive intelligence into product refinements and go-to-market optimization.

Market and Competitive Intelligence

  • Lead analysis of trends in streaming, connected TV, and digital video advertising, identifying emerging technologies and new monetization models.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape to advise product strategy and differentiation.
  • Collaborate with Insights & Research to harness Bloomberg’s proprietary data and audience understanding to drive commercial advantage.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Serve as a connector across Product, Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Editorial teams, ensuring strategic alignment and detailed execution.
  • Champion a culture of innovation, data-driven storytelling, and commercial excellence across the organization.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in advertising, marketing strategy, or product marketing within a media, technology, or advertising platform environment.
  • Proven ability to translate media capabilities into market narratives and sales enablement programs that drive revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising ecosystems, ad tech infrastructure, and data-driven marketing.
  • Outstanding storytelling, writing, and presentation skills — with a track record of influencing senior internal and client partners.
  • Analytical perspective with the ability to use research, trends, and performance insights to develop strategic decisions.
  • Collaborative leadership style, comfortable navigating complexity and driving alignment across global teams.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in B2B media, enterprise advertising platforms, or premium video streaming environments.
  • Experience working with financial, technology, or professional services advertisers.
