Location: Cincinnati, OH

Position Summary: We are looking for a Production Artist who can develop accurate and high‑quality artwork for intermediate to complex production assignments for packaging and circulars, incorporating branding guidelines per client specifications. This technical pre‑media assembly role generates press‑ready files for commercial print on food and CPG products. Strong communication skills and strategic understanding are key.

Job Responsibilities

  • Attend client meetings (e.g., pre‑production) as necessary.
  • Ensure high quality standards for all production client deliverables.
  • Produce accurate, consistent, and timely high‑quality intermediate to complex level artwork using industry‑standard software, tools, and print techniques.
  • Interpret concept and/or brand guidelines through to artwork execution.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and/or external clients.
  • Perform tasks within the overall production workflow and assigned budget, according to work order specifications, SOPs, company standards, and the client’s brand guidelines.
  • Log and maintain current information about project status in the project tracking system.
  • Meet quality standards consistently for all assigned deliverables and make recommendations to management for improvements in reports, tools, processes, and assigned tasks.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Arts or related field.
  • 6+ years of previous graphic arts experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Occasional travel locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
  • Basic computer software skills with Apple Mac equipment and operating systems, Adobe Design Suite, Acrobat plus QuarkXpress, Agile, etc.
  • High proficiency with MS Office Suite, Outlook & internet applications.
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem‑solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as internal and external clients.
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment.
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management.
  • Self‑motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.
  • Ability to work overtime as necessary.
