Director, Internal Content (Platform Content Strategist & Producer)

Opportunity

Publicis Groupe is searching for a talented individual to join the team and our bespoke agency. This unique role partners with iconic brands on their marketing transformation journey, helping to future‑prove their business while integrating media, production, data & tech, social, influencer and commerce to create end‑to‑end PESO experiences.

Overview

This role serves as the key liaison between the client (Mars), Marcel (our internal content platform), and account teams for all activities related to content creation, strategy and publishing. Responsibilities include leading content brainstorms, managing content calendars, sourcing and curating content, and proactively seeking new content streams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Mars Segment team to create a strong content strategy.
• Produce a steady stream of content for Marcel in line with the strategy.
• Evaluate and recommend ways to optimize content quality and engagement.
• Create an Editorial Advisory Board, if needed, to facilitate ideation and establish content calendars and production timelines.
• Elevate content by reimagining training materials and repackaging existing content into bite‑sized, on‑brand assets.
• Stay abreast of new Marcel features and roadmap evolutions.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

• Lead regular content brainstorms and planning meetings with the client team.
• Develop and propose content opportunities based on strategy and Mars’ cultural turning points.
• Collaborate with the Mars content publisher to upload content via AEM.
• Manage production timelines and creative deliverables.
• Communicate with clients to share progress, manage calendars and obtain approvals.

Onboarding Areas Of Focus

• Establish a sustainable workflow between Mars and Publicis teams for continued content creation.
• Gain deeper insight into Mars’ vision, purpose, pillars, roadmap, and capabilities.
• Understand the Marcel platform and its feature roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field.
• 7+ years of content strategy and production experience.
• Ability to strategically plan campaigns from audience determination to execution aligned with client KPIs.
• Strong understanding of analytics to inform and validate planning and strategy.
• Experience monitoring and recommending optimizations of existing content.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, visual storytelling, diplomacy, and relationship‑building skills.

Compensation Range

$127,585 – $200,790 annually. Compensation is determined by skills, qualifications and experience and is subject to change. Application deadline: 12/09/2025.
