Location: Washington, DC
Salary: $20.40 - $36.12 per hour (actual compensation will consider factors such as skills, qualifications, location, and may include bonuses.)

Do you have an eye for detail? Are you looking to kickstart your journalism career in a 24/7 newsroom? As an Associate Producer (Weekends) you will collaborate with reporters and producers to craft compelling stories and cover all branches of government and political stories of importance to viewers.

Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years in Television news
- High school diploma
- Knowledge of current events, social media, and industry trends
- Ability to collaborate, strong news writing skills, attention to detail
- Open to travel within local community and community interaction
- Flexible to work different shifts and schedule changes
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field
- Experience with office software, newsroom software, and non-linear editing systems
- Ability to lift up to five pounds
Working Conditions
- Primarily office environment, climate-controlled; occasional field duties
- Semi-noisy newsroom setting
