The Position

We are looking to add a Senior Producer to our team. In this role you will be responsible for taking the lead with the core creative team on integrated productions and new business pitches from the initial agency briefing to the first delivery date and beyond. We’d like to see 5+ years experience in production.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage video, social, digital, print projects and activations that result in satisfied clients and project teams, and ensure delivery on time and on budget.
  • Deliver projects on time and within budget, ensuring the highest quality of all production deliverables and services.
  • Put forward the best, most talented production partners for each job, including director, editor, music house etc. Line production experience is a plus.
  • Stay connected to fresh work in the marketplace via publications, online services and relationships with top reps, casting directors, location scouts etc.
  • Prepare and update documentation including schedules, budgets/estimates, change requests, and resource updates.
  • Act as key point of contact to the Account Team throughout the project, representing the needs and communicating the status of the production team; produce verbal and/or written status reports for the Account team daily/weekly.
  • Collaborate with Design, Studio, Editors, and/or Developers, shepherding best practices throughout the project.
  • Seek new opportunities to incorporate AI into both internal and external production processes.
  • Generate, negotiate and manage all aspects of schedule and budget.
  • Oversee all operations and logistics for a project, from the pre-production phase through delivery of the completed work.
  • Manage multiple complicated productions simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  • Mentor and manage producers and coordinators, taking responsibility for their direct reports’ performance and growth.
  • Provide day-to-day coaching to junior members with regular development conversations.
  • Spearhead and own the ideation of and follow through on internal initiatives (e.g., equipment storage and checkout, production templates, internal processes).
  • Ensure that clients are prepared to issue payment at the time of estimate approval according to the specs of the job.
  • Coordinate and supervise all internal and client approvals.
  • Work directly with the Business Manager on billing and budget reconciliation.
  • Book all production-related travel for the core team.
  • Approve and manage all expenses related to assigned jobs, including vendor invoices and agency travel expenses.
  • Deliver and file final as-produced scripts, completion reports, high and low resolution files and any and all production-related materials and deliverables to the right parties.
  • Own any other duties/responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.

What You Need To Be Successful

  • Has produced work inside an advertising agency environment (or comparable integrated production company interfacing with agencies), navigating briefs, scopes, vendor bids, and client approvals.
  • Business expertise with an ability to balance financial responsibilities while managing and catering to clients.
  • Thorough understanding of production pipelines and postproduction.
  • Strong scheduling, tracking and resource management skills.
  • Articulate communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Collaborative and creative problem solver.
  • High level of initiative.
  • Experience leading teams.
  • Ability to travel.

Professional Skills & Knowledge

  • Attention to detail, multitasking, and a self-starter.
  • Calm under stressful situations while managing urgent deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability in diplomacy and problem-solving.
  • Proficient with Google Suite and project/finance management systems preferred.
  • Strong competency with video shooting.
  • Health/Pharmaceutical Production experience a bonus.

Salary Range

Our estimated range for this role is $120K-$150K.

Hybrid Schedule

We are in the office Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday on a hybrid schedule.
