JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for designing, creating, and delivering marketing programs to support the growth and expansion of the organizations campaigns and services. The Marketing Specialist creates, conveys brand messages and improves brand awareness, and analyzes reports based on information collected, such as marketing trends, competition, new products, and pricing. May coordinate involvement in conferences, exhibitions, and marketing seminars. Assists in the implementation of a comprehensive marketing strategy for Campbell County Health.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES
  • Develop and implements marketing strategies for designated service lines, departments, medical staff (internal customers) by; creating comprehensive marketing plans aligned with organization goals, target audiences, and brand guidelines. Identify key marketing channels and tactics to reach and engage the target market effectively.
  • Market research and analysis: Conduct market research to identify patient and community needs, preferences, and competitors activities. Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and industry insights to inform marketing strategies and campaign optimization.
  • Marketing campaign Management: Plan, execute, and manage marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital advertising, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and events. Track campaign performance, analyze date, and adjust strategies to maximize ROI and achieve set metrics of the department.
  • Content Creation Oversight: Assist content creator to utilize available software and platforms and create branded materials utilizing copywriting and copy editing to develop compelling marketing collateral, including but not limited to blog posts, website content, social media content, video content, and email campaign material. Ensure brand consistency and messaging alignment across all marketing materials production.
  • Digital marketing optimization: implement SEO strategies and manage paid advertising, campaigns, and landing pages to improve website traffic, conversions, and search engine rankings. Stay abreast of digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices as well as educational opportunities available.
  • Brand Management: Maintain brand integrity and consistency across all marketing channels and end-user touchpoints. Develop brand guidelines and ensure they are followed in all marketing communications campaigns. Facility stylistic brand application for wayfinding and informational purposes to create a consistent patient experience across the organization.
  • Market and computer analysis: Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats. Provide insights and recommendations based on competitive analysis.
  • Collaboration and cross-functional teamwork: Collaborate with department managers, executive leadership, and Human Resources.
  • Media training, issue management, and crisis communication planning and response.
  • Events and sponsorship budget planning collaboration.
  • Event planning and Coordination: Assist in organizing and promoting special events, conferences and promotional activities both internally and externally. Coordinate with internal departments, external partners, and vendors to ensure successful event execution.
  • Consistently provides excellent customer service by demonstrating flexibility and positive interpersonal relations in a high-volume, high traffic and fast-paced work environment.
  • Participates in cost containment, economical ordering and utilization of supplies and equipment. Completes purchase requisitions, meal authorizations and check requests as directed by the director.
  • Complies with the CCH Corporate Compliance Program including, but not limited to, the Standards of Behavior, Code of Conduct, laws and regulations, and CCH policies and procedures.
  • Must be free from governmental sanctions involving health care and/or financial practices.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
  • Education
    • Bachelors degree in marketing or related.
  • Licensure
    • None
  • Experience
    • Minimum of 3 years experience in marketing, communication, journalism, and/or related field.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and techniques.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, CR systems, and marketing automation software or ability to learn and adapt.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data or drive marketing decisions.
  • Creative thinking and ability to develop innovative marketing campaigns.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare environment is preferred.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Work requires interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with individuals who have varying levels of comprehension.
  • Essential Physical Requirements: Work is performed in an office setting. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills
  • Knowledge of latest marketing trends and management skills.
  • Knowledge of design platforms (example: Canva, adobe creative suite etc.)
