Role Description We are hiring a mission-driven Vice President of Sales & Marketing to build and lead the revenue engine for Wildfire Guardian™. You will own dual-channel growth—direct-to-consumer (D2C) retail and B2B commercial—launching first in California, then expanding nationwide. Reporting to the CEO, you will have full P&L ownership for revenue, brand, and market penetration in a $5B+ wildfire mitigation market.

Job Responsibilities

Go-to-Market Strategy:

Architect and execute a multi-channel sales & marketing plan for D2C (homeowners, HOAs, e-commerce) and B2B (fire districts, insurers, builders, landscapers, golf courses, commercial properties and government).

Team Build-Out:

Recruit and scale sales and marketing teams (field reps, inside sales, digital marketing, retail merchandisers, government affairs).

B2B:

Close pilot contracts with CAL FIRE, municipal fire stations, PG&E, insurance carriers (State Farm, Allstate), and top homebuilders (Lennar, KB Home).

National Rollout:

Replicate California playbook across AZ, CO, OR, TX within 24 months.

Brand & Demand Generation:

Build a fear-to-hope narrative via TV, social (Nextdoor, TikTok, YouTube), influencer firefighters, and PR (CNN, local news).

CRM & Pipeline:

Implement Salesforce/HubSpot with 95%+ forecast accuracy and 4x pipeline coverage.

Partnerships:

Co-market with insurers (premium discounts), utilities (rebate programs), and NGOs (fire-safe councils).

Qualifications

10+ years of sales & marketing leadership in home safety, disaster mitigation, building products, or environmental tech.

Proven success building sales & marketing plans and teams from

Direct experience launching in California—insurance partnerships, or government procurement.

Hands‑on with retail distribution.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related (MBA preferred).

Quantified impact: $15M+ in new revenue, 2+ national retail chains, government or insurer partnerships.
