We are seeking a Senior Media Manager, Retail Commerce, responsible for leading the retail key clients and team members at Mindgruve. This team leads strategy, activation and optimizations for large buy-side Retail Media brands (CPG, Apparel, Outdoor, etc.) and Commerce clients. The Senior Media Manager, reporting to the Sr. Director of Retail Media, will demonstrate the ability to report and optimize client marketing campaigns within Amazon, Walmart, Criteo, Instacart, and other retail media networks. You will deliver reporting, insights and projects in a timely manner and within budget plans supporting the team with flawless execution. Responsibilities
Lead client calls, daily client engagements, and drive strategy discussions for Retail Media clients and collaborate with Brand Managers on multi-channel retail media strategies for brand partners Help brands to plan and develop a budget and then deliver campaigns according to KPIs agreed upon with the client Provide guidance on product optimizations to ensure campaigns are set up for success and that all campaigns are meeting and exceeding client expectations Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, analytics, and performance insights for digital marketing campaigns Establish key metric reports, track progress and trends, and effectively communicate campaign results and insights Manage and deliver AMC cross-platform insights and work with the programmatic team to build out custom audiences that are backed by search + DSP data Having a pulse and opinion on industry news, translating macro trends into tailored recommendations and actions for clients Work with teams to identify new opportunities for clients under management, as well as work to quickly resolve any client issues Lead, mentor and coach 1-2 Retail Media Specialists to achieve individual and team growth. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement with the brand management team Be a champion of the Retail Media team’s core values What We Need
4-6 years of hands-on experience managing Amazon Search Campaigns, Trade Desk, Stack Adapt, Walmart, or other eCommerce platforms is a plus 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Amazon DSP 3-4 years of hands-on experience working with 3rd party platforms for management and/or reporting (i.e. Skai, IntentWise, etc.) Strong understanding of Digital Marketing tenants and marketing journeys/funnels Analytically minded & extremely detail-oriented Forward-thinking & eagerness to learn new things (platforms, channels, systems), willingness to ask questions, and work in a collaborative environment Ability to self-manage and adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced environment Experience with SQL a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.e. vlookup, filtering, pivot tables) Strong business interpersonal skills, both written and verbal Problem solving—comfortable diving in and conducting analysis to create out of the box solutions Compensation
Salary: $90k - $115k (commensurate with experience and geographic location) Annual Bonus: TBD Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Our headquarters is based in San Diego, California, with additional offices in Covington, Kentucky, Denver, Colorado, Nashville, Tennessee and Charleston, South Carolina. We’re seeking local candidates (or those open to relocation) who are able to work collaboratively with us in one of our offices; however, based on business needs and unique job functions, some roles may be eligible for remote work.
