Michigan Area Manager, MWT|AT&T Authorized Retailer
Base pay range: $50,453.00/yr - $105,289.00/yr
Overview Area Manager responsible for the successful operation of 2 to 3 AT&T Retail locations in Michigan. This role leads by example, fosters a culture of winning, and drives sales and customer service excellence while upholding company policies and AT&T requirements.
What You'll Be Doing
Every aspect of the successful operation of 2 to 3 AT&T Retail locations.
Fosters a culture of winning
Leads by example and lives the organization’s core values
Creates a positive, fun, and professional environment for customers and employees
Consistently meets or exceeds sales, customer service, and operational standards
Minimizes or eliminates losses to the company
Maintains a strong focus on sales and sales-generating activities daily
Conducts a minimum of 4 highly effective store visits per location per month, including evenings and weekends, with detailed recaps
Manages recruiting and staffing for all positions in their market
Conducts monthly 1-on-1s with Store Managers and ASMs to review performance and create action plans
Leads regular conference calls, trainings, and meetings to share knowledge and best practices
Maintains and communicates store performance metrics and recognizes top performances
Supports organization B2B, FirstNet, & MDU efforts
Communicates effectively via phone and email with customers, partners, and co-workers
Upholds and partners with HR to enforce all company and AT&T policies and procedures
Conducts a monthly New Hire Sales Training that delivers the defined MWT Sales Behaviors
Collaborates with internal and external partners to plan and execute local events and promotions aligned with MWT and AT&T marketing initiatives
Ensures all store personnel are trained on and following policies and procedures
Resolves customer issues and delivers a clean, organized retail experience
Meets all AT&T compliance and merchandising requirements
Reviews reporting to identify risks and takes appropriate action
Maintains positive relationships with co-workers, vendors, and partners
Works nights and weekends; travels as necessary
Other duties as assigned
Things We Need You To Have
Education Required: HS Diploma; BA or BS preferred in a related field or equivalent experience
Five or more years of successful sales experience with 2+ years of Wireless Retail Store Manager experience
AT&T sales management experience preferred but not required
1+ year retail multi-unit store responsibility
Demonstrated development and promotion of sales consultants to store managers
High ethical standards and integrity
Experience directing training and development activities for a sales team
Experience staffing stores with high-quality candidates using behavioral-based selection processes
Experience managing store-based marketing initiatives and merchandising
Strong communication and organizational skills
Emotional intelligence and a take-charge leadership style
Ability to work 50+ hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and/or holidays
Valid Driver's License & Proof of Liability Insurance
