Overview
Directs and oversees operations within the organization's marketing function. Manages the work of a team that drafts marketing communications, including promotional publications, presentations, advertisements, or brochures; reviews and edits messages to ensure that they are clear, thorough, on-brand, and seek to preserve the company's image. Works to build the entire foundation of the brand identity for Aimbridge Hospitality. Qualifications
Typically requires a bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience, including some prior management experience. Has extensive experience with the concepts and principles of one or more related fields or departments. Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination. Supervision is often provided through a team of subordinate managers. Contributes to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the department or function in collaboration with senior management. Establishes departmental policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization. Ability to make strategic plans Good communication skills needed to build a healthy relation with the media unit Must possess the capability to manage and regulate the matters related to marketing section of the company Effective communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to coordinate the different departments of marketing in the company Detail-oriented with ability to oversee projects from origin through execution. Ability to foster teamwork. Develops and implements marketing plans and campaigns meant to promote the organization or its products and services. Understands industry and competitive trends and identifies and targets specific new or underserved markets. Oversees the production of print, online, or other forms of advertisement, and organizes special events or promotions. Establishes metrics defining campaign performance; modifies campaigns based on ROI analysis. Developing promotional materials, which include marketing print and collateral copies. Making plans pertaining to the marketing policy of the company, working on it and then finally executing them. Assisting in strategic plans for client demonstrations, presentations, displays, etc. Designing, implementing, and facilitating annual marketing strategies for the organization. Developing and delivering insightful strategies and presentations to the executive committee and business department where appropriate. Developing marketing strategy depending on the knowledge of organizational policy, market nature, royalty and copyright requirements, and markup and cost factors. Translating business department objectives and strategies to prepare brand portfolio objective, plans, strategies to facilitate the growth of business unit. Develops strategies related to the dissemination of information meant to drive sales of the organization's products or services. Defines target audiences and tailors messages and delivery channels. Collects data on the performance of specific communications or campaigns and modifies strategies to improve performance. Coordinate with IT in the development and enhancement of the company's commercial online portals and blogs to ensure high systems availability and easy access for its global customers.
