Senior Product Marketing Manager

Join Automata as a Senior Product Marketing Manager and help transform how scientists work by making automation accessible to every lab in the world.

Bonus: 10% performance-based, discretionary

Location: Hybrid 2x per week in Cambridge, MA office

What Youll Do
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new lab automation products and features.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities.
  • Drive the creation of compelling product positioning and messaging for technical audiences.
  • Design and optimize content and brand awareness programs in the pharma, biotech, and genomics sectors.
  • Collaborate cross?functionally with product, engineering, sales, and brand/creative teams.
  • Enable sales success by developing product guides, battle cards, personas, and training materials.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report performance of product marketing initiatives.
  • Support partnership efforts, case studies, and customer testimonials.
  • Act as a product evangelist at industry events and contribute thought leadership.

What Were Looking For
  • 57 years of product marketing experience in life sciences automation, robotics, biotech, or health tech.
  • Proven success launching complex products and driving adoption.
  • Strong market and customer research skills, including buyer persona development.
  • Technical acumen in lab automation or related life science domains.
  • Data?driven decision making and proficiency with analytics tools.
  • Sales enablement experience with toolkits, battle cards, and training.
  • Excellent communication skills for translating technical concepts.
  • Stakeholder collaboration and project management in fast?paced environments.
  • Familiarity with CRM, campaign automation tools, and AI?powered content optimization.

Nice to Have
  • Experience with lab informatics, robotics, automation software, or lab workflow knowledge.
  • Experience delivering product videos and assets.
