Responsible for supervising and managing staff in the Marketing Department: Advertising, Promotions, Special Events/Entertainment, and Social Media.

Develops, implements, and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.

Creates effective and efficient schedules while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives, and achieving guest satisfaction.

Assists in the budget process for the department; ensures compliance with budget initiatives; reports budget concerns to the manager.

Supports, promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with departmental and company standards.

Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.

Responsible for the overall achievement of departmental customer service goals.

Manages Marketing Support Services including advertising, public relations, and internal department requests.

Responsible for press releases and media correspondence related to marketing programs or property advertising.

Manages relationships with outside vendors to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective production campaigns.

Oversees management of property promotions including slot tournaments, brand promotions, and VIP events.

Creates strategic plans and calendars for promotions and host goals.

Oversees media used to communicate current and upcoming promotional efforts for guests, team members, and regulatory agencies.

Plans and organizes regularly scheduled entertainment acts for all performances on property.

Dresses in appropriate uniform/attire based on event/venue; costumes may be used occasionally.

Enhances guest interactions by providing a friendly greeting, directions, answering questions, and creating a positive atmosphere.

Oversees Marketing communications across social media with a consistent and appropriate voice; monitors social media and web for engagement opportunities.

Maintains regulatory compliance within area of authority and reports potential issues to Executive Management/GM.

Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in Marketing, Finance, or related field; five (5) years of progressively more challenging leadership roles in Marketing or Operations; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience in multiple communication channels including direct mail, e-mail, and social media.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluent in English.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment.

Strong client interface and presentation skills.

Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage employees in a high-pressure environment toward successful results for the property and company.

Ability to present information clearly and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.

Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues to resolve problems diplomatically and tactfully.

Mathematical proficiency: add, subtract, multiply, and divide; understand rate, ratio, and percent; read bar graphs.

Demonstrated ability to drive toward results and maintain a high level of energy; proactive and strategic in issue resolution.

Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels.
