The Optomi team, in partnership with a telecommunications partner, is seeking an Instructional Designer who can develop virtual training content for contact centers, door-to-door sales teams, and global sellers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, visually skilled, self-driven, and comfortable creating modern, video-based learning experiences in the telecommunications space.

Base pay range $25.00/hr - $28.00/hr

Responsibilities

Partner with training experts to identify learning needs, ask probing questions, and tailor materials based on audience type.

Develop compelling short-form video instructional content for diverse learning audiences.

Utilize industry-leading tools such as Articulate Rise, Camtasia, and Snagit to create interactive learning experiences.

Build storyboards and outlines, and translate content into engaging, interactive training experiences.

Create training materials focused on pricing and product education, facilitating eLearning and microlearning modules for leaders and field teams.

Adapt and refresh existing training materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness in a digital learning environment.

Build job aids and reference materials to support continuous learning.

Manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment with attention to quality and consistency.

Collaborate cross-functionally on marketing-led training initiatives that align to business goals.

Manage projects and organize content effectively using platforms like SharePoint.

Requirements

5+ years of proven experience conducting the analysis, design, development, and evaluation of eLearning, classroom learning (live and virtual), blended learning, and informal learning.

Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Articulate Rise/Storyline, Vyond, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Cloud, MS Suite, and Snagit.

A portfolio or work samples showcasing use of relevant tools experience.

Telecom industry experience.

Experience creating short-form video training content; Motion Graphics experience is a plus.

Strong familiarity with LMS platforms and a variety of training development tools.

Strong project management skills and the ability to organize, track, and evaluate training effectiveness.
