Director Specialist Sales Loyalty - Retail Media. Mastercard Services is our professional services and solutions arm, providing customers with value-added services to enhance business performance and consumer experiences. The Services Business Development team is looking for a Director, Specialist Sales-Loyalty to drive growth of our value-added services within the Loyalty space. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of selling to senior executives, navigating matrixed organizations, and utilizing solution-based selling to drive clear value for customers. This role combines deep media expertise with data-driven performance marketing, offering clients measurable outcomes and up to 22x return on ad spend. Commerce Media is a digital advertising platform built on Mastercard’s global payments infrastructure, enabling advertisers and financial institutions to deliver personalised campaigns using permissioned transaction data. You will identify high-value opportunities, develop go-to-market strategies, and build partnerships across retail, travel, dining, and financial services. Responsibilities

Generate new loyalty platform sales (specifically Mastercard Commerce Media) within the financial services segment in North America. Develop and execute the sales strategy for a key set of prospect accounts to secure multimillion-dollar, multi-year deals. Build and manage an active pipeline, progressing to signed platform deals. Articulate the benefits of bundling Loyalty Solutions products with other Data & Services offerings (Consulting, Managed Services, Test & Learn, Customer Data Enhancement, Labs as a Service, etc.). Demonstrate strong communication and influencing skills; present to senior client audiences and influence large deals. Partner across internal sales, product management, program management, and finance teams. Apply excellent problem solving and analytics to engage internal stakeholders and customers with fact-based thinking. Represent Mastercard Services, Loyalty to senior-level client stakeholders, including C-suite. All About You (Qualifications)

Extensive media sales, digital advertising, or data-driven marketing experience, ideally within financial services, retail media networks, or performance marketing. Proven success in quota-carrying roles; hunter mentality with a consultative sales approach. Strong commercial drive with ability to build and monetize senior client relationships using empathy, thought leadership and subject matter expertise. Strategic software sales experience; familiarity with CRM/Martech/Loyalty is an asset. Resilient, persistent, and skilled at proactive outreach. Ability to build a robust pipeline with limited lead generation support; strong network across C-level contacts. Strong pipeline management and forecasting skills; top-level sales and negotiation capabilities for large deals. Company and Benefits
