Position Title Video Production Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Production Specialist with FAA drone certification and a strong background in video production and editing to join our marketing team.
Position Summary The Video Production Specialist will capture and produce high-quality aerial and ground footage to visually document MWH’s construction projects nationwide. This role plays a key part in telling the story of our people, projects, and progress through compelling visual content. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on creative with strong technical expertise in videography, photography, drone operations, and post‑production editing, someone who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys bringing construction stories to life.
Responsibilities
Capture professional‑grade photo and video content, both aerial and ground‑based, highlighting construction progress, milestones, and completed projects.
Plan and coordinate video shoots, ensuring alignment with project milestones, safety standards, and client requirements.
Conduct pre‑flight safety checks and ensure full compliance with FAA Part 107 regulations and airspace restrictions.
Edit and produce polished, high‑impact videos using industry‑standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
Collaborate with project managers, marketing/business development, safety, and engineering teams to translate project objectives into engaging visual stories.
Organize and maintain a digital library of photos and videos for company‑wide use.
Capture still photography for marketing, project documentation, social media and proposal use.
Create motion graphics and short‑form video content for digital and social media.
Stay current on emerging technology, drone systems, and video trends to continuously enhance MWH’s visual storytelling.
Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols while working on or near active construction sites.
Basic Qualifications
Proven experience as a videographer and FAA‑certified drone pilot (Part 107 Remote Pilot License required).
Proficient in drone and camera equipment operation, stabilization systems, lighting, and audio recording.
Advanced editing and post‑production skills (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).
Demonstrated knowledge of visual composition, framing, and cinematic storytelling.
Experience with still photography and photo editing.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with diverse project teams.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and travel nationwide to active project sites.
Portfolio or demo reel showcasing relevant videography and photography work required.
Preferred Qualifications
OSHA 10‑hour or 30‑hour Safety Training (or willingness to complete prior to jobsite visits).
Experience working on construction or industrial project sites.
Familiarity with storytelling for technical or infrastructure‑focused industries.
Compensation
Anticipated budgeted salary for this position is at $50,000 – $75,000 a year.
