Overview We’re seeking a Junior to Intermediate Architectural Designer to support our team in the design and documentation of hospitality projects. This role works closely with project architects, interior designers, and consultants to translate design intent into buildable, coordinated drawing sets. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, detail‑oriented, and passionate about hospitality design and adaptive reuse.
Responsibilities
Support project leads in developing plans, elevations, sections, and details for hospitality projects.
Produce and coordinate drawing sets from schematic design through construction documents.
Assist in code research, redlines, and permitting documentation.
Coordinate with consultants (MEP, structural, lighting, food service) to ensure integration of all systems.
Participate in design development and help translate interior design concepts into architectural details.
Conduct site surveys, field verifications, and assist with CA tasks such as RFIs and submittals.
Maintain drawing standards, templates, and project organization.
Support quick‑turn studies, test fits, and feasibility sketches for new projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture.
2–5 years of experience in a design or architecture firm, ideally in hospitality or adaptive reuse.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Enscape. Strong technical drawing skills and attention to detail.
Working understanding of building codes, construction methods, and documentation standards.
Ability to balance multiple project priorities and deadlines.
Collaborative and proactive team player who enjoys hands‑on work.
