The Role You’ll work closely with the founder, report to our Marketing Director, and take ownership of Mojo’s visual brand across all channels.
We are an app‑first experience, so creating compelling, user‑friendly design that resonates with our community and converts at scale is essential.
As we are an early‑stage start‑up, there is room for you to have a huge impact on the future of the company and a large amount of autonomy to shape your role and get stuck in. You should be comfortable adapting your role and responsibilities as the company grows. We expect this might consist of:
Designing high‑performing Meta ads and social media content that drives acquisition and engagement
Creating on‑brand graphics for website landing pages, email campaigns, and marketing materials
Collaborating with product to ensure brand consistency across the app experience
Developing and maintaining brand guidelines as we scale
Iterating quickly based on performance data and user feedback
Exploring new visual directions to keep the brand fresh and distinctive
We are building a team of people who have real ownership over the business. To be successful here, you should be willing to roll your sleeves up and get your hands dirty on anything that will help the business be more successful.
You are:
A skilled designer with 3+ years of experience in brand design
Proficient and like to work in Figma
Confident working across digital channels—especially web, social, and paid
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced startup environment with evolving priorities
Based in New York or London and able to work from our office 2 days per week
Compassionate, empathetic, and understanding, with genuine interest in mental health
Able to keep up‑to‑date with the latest tools and trends
Industry‑leading day rate for freelance work, with potential for equity participation
Great offices on Union Square, NYC or Old Street, London
Monthly team outings
