The Event Producer is a key member of the Virtual Events and Legal Proceedings (VELP) team, supporting the firm’s technical and A/V needs for events and legal proceedings. Occasional overnight travel to offices and venues may be required to support large events and proceedings. Responsibilities

Meeting Support: Provide technical support for video conferencing, projection, and audio equipment; coordinate daily meeting coverage with VELP colleagues; design technical productions for high-profile meetings; provide end-user training for video conferencing platforms (Teams, Webex, Zoom); maintain documentation and instructional content; train users in conference room systems; maintain, upgrade, and repair components in meeting rooms and event spaces; assist local IT Manager and team as needed. Events Production: Collaborate on large event delivery with internal marketing and business development teams; operate specialized A/V production equipment including cameras, lighting, and networks; participate in all phases of event production from intake through rehearsals to final delivery; meet weekly with the office’s Senior Manager, Hospitality and Conference Center Services to align schedules and expectations; manage our large, specialized meeting space using technology such as a large video wall and Analog Way Aquilon; understand A/V technology used in mixed-use spaces in the building. Legal Proceedings Support: Cross-train to support technical needs of trials and legal proceedings; assist with intake and planning for trials, arbitrations, and mediations; configure on-site facilities to meet the needs of each proceeding; support logistics including packaging, shipping, and inventory management of VELP equipment; travel to remote offices to provide on-site installation and support as needed. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 3+ years of equivalent experience. Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable interfacing with all levels of the firm and clients; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge or experience with video presentation/switching systems (Aquilon, Tri-caster, etc.); experience with audio mixing and wired/wireless mics; knowledge of NVX and NDI platforms. Capable of lifting and moving equipment up to 50 lbs; highly organized with strong attention to detail; self-starter with ability to manage tasks independently. Law firm experience preferred; experience in legal technology and trial graphics is a plus; basic networking and troubleshooting knowledge; knowledge of lighting and framing for video production; bilingual skills are a plus. Pay Transparency (New York):
