Power Distribution Make Ready Designer
Location: Remote (100% remote after initial 2-week paid training in Perrysburg, OH) Employment Type: Full-Time Minimum Requirements to Apply
At least 1 year of experience in Power Utility Distribution Make-Ready Design (3+ years strongly preferred) Proficiency in CAD, MicroStation, or similar design software (DDS Preferred) Familiarity with NESC standards and utility construction practices Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass background, drug, and driving record checks Available to work Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM ET About Sigma Technologies

This is a remote role supporting Make-Ready/Joint-Use and general distribution design for power utility companies. All new hires must attend a 2-week paid in-person training at our headquarters in Perrysburg, OH. Key Responsibilities
Execute end-to-end power distribution designs using established guidelines Research and manage permits, easements, and pole ownership Use specialized software: AutoCAD, MicroStation, DDS, PoleForeman, O-Calc, Katapult, etc. Collaborate with teams to solve complex design challenges Perform quality control on design work as needed Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of Make-Ready Engineering / Joint-Use design experience strongly preferred Experience using DDS - Distribution Design Software Benefits
