Talascend is currently seeking a CAD Drafter/Designer II for a contract opportunity with our client in Houston, Texas.
Pay
- $26.00/hr
Overview This role involves creating, laying out, and revising detailed part, assembly, and installation engineering drawings from basic layouts, established references, and standard data. Work may focus on areas such as structures, mechanical systems, electrical, or electronics, using computer-aided design tools such as CAD, CAM, or CATIA.
Key Responsibilities
Complete detailed drawings from major layouts prepared by others, following standard engineering drafting practices.
Determine scaling, insert reference planes, centering and dimension lines, hidden lines, and sectioning.
Prepare specifications for parts, assemblies, and installations.
Produce complete production detail drawings.
Recommend design modifications to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
Qualifications
High school diploma required.
Preferred: Degree preferred.
Requirements
U.S. Citizenship required.
1-3+ years of relevant experience.
Shift Standard work hours, 5/40
