About this Role

The Manager, Field Marketing & Community Impact is a critical role responsible for enhancing the New York Red Bulls visibility and engagement with fans across New York and New Jersey. This position requires an innovative marketer with a deep passion for soccer and a track record of executing successful events. The role involves planning and delivering field marketing initiatives, driving community outreach, and coordinating impactful events to strengthen fan relationships and support ticket sales. The successful candidate will collaborate across departments to integrate brand strategies and foster community connections, while also maintaining robust organizational responsibilities such as budget management and program metrics tracking.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage, and execute regional field marketing activations, festivals, and experiential events.
  • Support the strategic relaunch and growth of local fan initiatives.
  • Collaborate with marketing and ticketing teams to create activations.
  • Manage the fulfillment and tracking of donation requests and ticket distributions.
  • Support the planning, development, and execution of Red Bulls community programs.
  • Organize and maintain departmental data, including program metrics and KPIs.
  • Manage casual part-time staff.
  • Lead logistics, staffing, and on-site management of large-scale events and activations.
  • Manage one intern for the department each semester.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive event planning and brand integration.
  • Manage event budgets, timelines, and post-event recaps to measure impact and ROI.
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, sports management, or related field preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in field marketing, event management, or community engagement.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Understanding of the MLS landscape is a plus.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and matchdays as needed.
