Overview
We’re looking for a Motion Designer with a passion for film, television, and storytelling through motion. Reporting to the Creative Director and collaborating closely with Art Directors and fellow Artists, this role helps bring major entertainment campaigns to life across platforms. You’ll move fluidly between motion design, kinetic typography, editing, and visual design, creating content that resonates with today’s social culture. From trailer cutdowns to cinemagraphs, from key art motion adaptations to social-first storytelling, you’ll help define how each title moves, feels, and connects with audiences. The ideal candidate combines sharp design and motion sensibility with an editor’s rhythm and a deep understanding of how audiences engage with content in the social space.
What You’ll Do
Bring stories to life: Animate social content that translates the emotion and identity of a film or series into short-form video
Craft motion systems: Develop cohesive motion language for titles, campaigns, and platforms
Own creative direction: Take projects from concept to execution, ensuring visual and tonal consistency
Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with art directors, editors, strategists, and producers to deliver standout creative across formats
Lead by example: Guide and mentor junior designers, providing creative feedback and workflow support
Stay ahead of trends: Constantly explore new formats, techniques, and styles relevant to entertainment and culture
You Have
2–5 years of professional experience in motion design, preferably in entertainment marketing, film, or streaming
Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Strong storytelling instincts and an understanding of pacing for short-form video (:05–:30)
A refined sense of composition, typography, and color
Experience integrating kinetic type, 2D/3D animation, and live‑action elements
Familiarity with social media formats and best practices (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X)
A collaborative, solution‑oriented mindset and a love for pushing creative boundaries
Bonus: Experience with Cinema 4D, Redshift, or 3D workflows
